The Dark Lord vs Evil Computer [Animator vs Animation vs The Daily Object Show]

“It’s better to be individual than a clone of someone else.” - Fennel Hudson

The Dark Lord, the drawing turned pure evil from Animator vs Animation

Evil Computer, the evil technologic doppelganger from The Daily Object Show

Both of these two, while initially made to achieve something related to our black-clad computer-themed main characters. Are quick to turn on their creators, becoming violent and evil, forming bonds with other villainous people. Only to soon have those alliances torn away, whether from those teammates disapproving of our villain's plans, or our villain betraying them. With their plans to dominate their worlds underway. It's not until someone who they initially defeated, coming back with a brand new form to defeat these two for good.

Only one can come out on top in this untitled battle, will The Dark Lord be able to delete Evil Computer for good? Or will Evil Computer show The Dark Lord the true meaning of "evil"

Before I Start...

I actually don't have much to say in this section. These two have pretty set in stone canons, with no real external material to look at outside of their web shows. Though with these two not having a ton of feats. Expect a lot of scaling, I guess. Though cross-scaling (ie: scaling TDL to canon versions of crossover characters) will not be used unless their feats are shown in Animator vs Animation. With that said, let's begin.

Background

The Dark Lord

Alan Becker (the character not the person) was a man who enjoyed animating, specifically creating stick figure animations. One day, Alan decided to draw a stick figure, The Chosen One. As soon as he set the name, The Chosen One came to life, and immediately rebelled against Alan. After a long fought battle, Alan managed to tame The Chosen One... by using a ball and chain to restrain him.

Latching onto Alan's cursor, The Chosen One managed to disable the ball and chain, and was now free to wreck havoc once again. As a result, Alan needed a new stick figure, one that could defeat The Chosen One. And thus, he created The Dark Lord.

After The Dark Lord and The Chosen One fought for a bit, they realized the mutual enemy they had in the form of Alan, as a result, they used their energy to bluescreen his computer and fry the motherboard. And for a while, that was the last we saw of them.

The Dark Lord and The Chosen One were quick to become friends, destroying websites and games galore. Though, The Dark Lord had more plans than just crashing Newgrounds and ruining the plans of the Angry Birds. He had plans to create a virus, and dozens of bug-like creatures to accompany his plans of taking over the internet. The Chosen One, seemingly having a change of heart. Attacked his former partner in crime. But not before The Dark Lord fired a virus directly to Alan's new computer.

From Alan's point of view, things seem to be going pretty smoothly up until this point. He has a new computer, and some new stick figures that are actually cool with him! Though something is clearly off. A new icon has appeared on Alan's computer, and uncoincidentally, his computer begins heating up. The Dark Lord's virus has infected his computer, hatching a Virabot. Luckily, The Chosen One comes through a portal in the nick of time, and takes out the Virabot. Soon going through another portal that led to another place in the internet.

TCO, TSC, and The Fighting Stickfigures find themselves on a mountainside where The Dark Lord resides. Quick to act, The Chosen One attacks, though with his Virus Wristband and Virabots. The Dark Lord is quick to dispose of him. Even with Alan's help. Leaving The Second Coming and his colored allies. Who The Dark Lord is quick to erase. But when he goes to stab TSC, it doesn't erase him. Through sheer willpower, The Second Coming awakens, and defeats The Dark Lord. Never to be seen again...

unless Alan decides to bring him back but he's probably not

Evil Computer

One day, two best friends, Computer and Skull. Get bored, however, Computer has the idea to go to the Cobalt Mountain to find The Really Good Smelling Lotion. After their bus ride to get there, the duo is quickly attacked by minions of former Super Object Cobalt Blue. Though, with Computer quickly snagging the lotion and using its really good smell to defeat Cobalt Blue. The two escape.

With the lotion, Computer at first doesn't know what to do with it. So he decides to host a competition, the winner getting the lotion. One of the challenges required the contestants to make the best invention. Of which one of the contestants, Cringe Pill. Makes a cloning machine that is quickly sabotaged by Scat to make him lose the challenge. Shooting Computer with the cloning machine, Cringe Pill is shocked to see that nothing happened... at least. Not on competition grounds.

In a desert, a portal opens, revealing the one and only Evil Computer. After deceiving Computer into thinking he was his son, Evil Computer attacked Computer, which led to the next challenge; defeat Evil Computer! After some failure, Card defeated Evil Computer with her invention from the last challenge, leaving Evil Computer defeated for now... until he came back two episodes later with Evil Blood Bag, a clone of the only eliminated contestant at the time. After another fight, Water Bottle defeats the two by using the power of the Really Good Smelling Lotion, luring them into the Sun and killing them.

After his death, Evil Computer was sent to the Astral Plane, with one goal: destroy Computer. With several TDOS seasons going by with villains, Evil Computer kills these villains and gathers them in the Astral Plane, with their mutual distain towards Computer, Evil Computer manages to convince them to help him find four lotions: The Really Good Smelling Lotion, The Really Bad Smelling Lotion, The Really Neutral Smelling Lotion, and The Really Chaotic Smelling Lotion. With the power of the four lotions, he'd be capable of gaining godlike powers, and be able to defeat Computer.

After the spirits of the villains obtain the lotions, Evil Computer gathers them to Cobalt Mountain to pour them out, forming a portal through mixing all the lotions together, all of the villains regain physical bodies. But not before Evil Computer traps them in a forcefield, and takes their power for himself. Becoming Evil Computer Supreme. Ready to reign hell on all that oppose him.

With the contestants of TDOS minding their business, they're all surprised to see the sky turning red, accompanied by Evil Computer's return. After some fighting, and effortlessly defeating most of the contestants. Evil Computer finally achieved what he wanted; and killed Computer. And being able to host the Evil Object Show.

However, there were some survivors, notably the original TDOS cast. Using Cringe Pill's time machine, they're able to go back in time and save Computer from his fate. Afterwards, they go further back in time to tell the original Super Objects about Evil Computer's doings. As such, they offer to use their power to make a portal to turn the contestants and Computer into Super Objects themselves.

Going back to the present. Evil Computer Supreme is still fighting off the contestants, even with contestants from Computer's side show. Though even then, Evil Computer still came out on top. Beginning to make a portal gun out of Tablet Pen's portal creation abilities to summon an army of people from other dimensions. When all seems doom and gloom, the first season's contestants and Computer, now Super Objects, begin to fight Evil Computer and his army. Though even with their newfound power. Evil Computer manages to kill Computer, for good this time.

Almost seemingly like he's now taken over, Computer comes in as a spirit from the Astral Plane, and finally finishes off Evil Computer. Leaving everyone in shock and awe. Computer, stating how much he enjoyed everyone's company. Finally leaves, ascending to presumably Heaven. He may be gone but his influence on his contestants will stay for the rest of their lives.

Intelligence and Skill

The Dark Lord

Being made to combat The Chosen One, The Dark Lord is a master of close-quarters combat and using the environment to his advantage, using whatever he can find as blunt objects or other weapons. He's also quite smart in a technological sense, as he created the Virabots, their weapons, and the Virus Wristband. He also presumably made the computer Yellow hacks, and this machine that was used to launch viruses

The Dark Lord also has combatted various foes. Like his rival, The Chosen One. As well as casually beating The Second Coming and The Fighting Stick Figures all at once. (Except Red cause he died beforehand) The latter show impressive fighting skill with fighting being their entire shtick. And The Second Coming consistently fights alongside the gang, so he's comparable.

Evil Computer

Despite only being alive for a short period of time, Evil Computer was already showing incredible potential. Being able to deceive Computer into thinking he was his son. As well as showing good skill in hand to hand combat, being able to beat Scat, Cringe Pill, Blood Bag, Computer, and Card alongside Evil Blood Bag. Despite the numbers difference. Along with singlehandedly defeating most of the TDOS cast as Evil Computer Supreme.

Evil Computer is also quite smart in a technological sense. Being able to create a casing for a portal gun that modified Tablet Pen's portal abilities to create portals to different universes.

Equipment

The Dark Lord

Virus Wristband

A pair of wristbands created by The Dark Lord, that grants him the ability to generate blades that can erase people when stabbed and sprout into more blades. The Dark Lord can also fire dozens of needle-like projectiles through the Wristband's power

Virabots

Created by The Dark Lord, Virabots are small, bug-like creatures that act as minions to The Dark Lord. Possessing bites that turn victims into trashed data, erasing them, needles that also erase targets, webs to trap people, the ability to control the computer UI, and seemingly homing capabilities. The Dark Lord created dozens, possibly hundreds of these things. And he can control them telepathically

Evil Computer

Portal Gun

To aid in his multiversal conquering, Evil Computer made a weapon out of Tablet Pen, a contestant on TDOS, using his ability to create portals across the globe. And making a gun that can shoot portals that lead to different universes... and it gets immediately destroyed by Scat, nice.

Powers and Abilities

The Dark Lord

Stick Figure Physiology

The Dark Lord, due to being drawn on a computer. Has a unique physiology, being made up of data, and as a result, lacking any organs. Granting immunity to stuff like poison and diseases.

Martial Arts

Much like pretty much all of the stick figures in AvA, The Dark Lord is a master at throwing hands.

Fire Manipulation

thats a spicy fireball.

Fire Breath

Why did he do that to the angry birds slingshot :(

Flight

The Dark Lord can fly by propelling himself with fire. Or just fly naturally

Energy/Explosion Manipulation

Whether they're small or large, The Dark Lord can fire explosive energy balls. He also has laser eyes, so that's pretty rad

Evil Computer

Computer Physiology

Thanks to being, well, a computer, Evil Computer has several attributes that come with it. Such as resisting poison and diseases thanks to lacking organs.

Flight

As seen above, Evil Computer can fly. Not explained why.

Forcefield Creation

Evil Computer can create forcefields, whether that be to actually block attacks, or to push people away. Computer with his forcefields can use them without trying to do so. Due to Evil Computer's status as a clone, he should be able to do this too

Abilities via Computer Scaling

Due to being a direct clone of Computer. He should have the following:

Resistances

  • Extreme Cold and Cosmic Radiations: Can fly in space with little issue

Forms

The Dark Lord

yeah... the dark lord doesn't have any forms. sorry guys.

Evil Computer

Spirit Form

After burning up in the Sun, Evil Computer became a spirit in the Astral Plane, a separate dimension from the main one. And is described by Evil Computer as "not heaven, not hell, just here." as a spirit, Evil Computer gains the following:

Super Object

After pouring all four lotions on the ground. A portal formed, once Evil Computer went through it. He was given the powers of a god, becoming a Super Object, upon killing his villain team, he become five times more powerful than before. And gaining the following abilities (+ keeping the ones from spirit form, minus the ones that come from being a ghost):

Evil Computer Supreme

With the power of his former villain friends. Evil Computer gained a new form, standing at 25 meters tall, Evil Computer is at his peak here, and is capable of casually stomping most of the contestants in TDOS.

Feats

The Dark Lord

Overall:

  • Destroyed The Animator's computer alongside The Chosen One
  • Created The Virabots and Virus Wristband
  • Easily defeated The Second Coming and the Fighting Stick Figures

Strength:

Speed:

  • Blitzed Red (Seen above)

Durability:

Evil Computer

Overall:

  • Successfully gathered all of TDOS's villains to help him
  • Became a Super Object
  • Killed all of The Daily Object Show's contestants, minus Season 1's contestants

Strength:

Speed:

Durability:

Scaling

The Dark Lord

The Chosen One

While they fight on equal footing in base, The Dark Lord with the Virus Wristband is capable of stomping The Chosen One, as a result, he can possibly upscale from the following:

The Second Coming

While he doesn't scale to The Second Coming in his Awakened state, he was able to fight a base Second Coming fairly handily, so he should scale to the following:

Fighting Stick Figures

With the Virus Wristband, The Dark Lord was easily capable of stomping the Fighting Stick Figures, as such, he should scale to the following:

Evil Computer

Computer

"YOU. ARE. ELIMINATED!"

Due to being equal to Computer physically in base, killing him as Evil Computer Supreme, and fighting equally with Computer's Super Object form. He should scale to the following:

The Contestants

Evil Computer in base is shown to be on par, potentially superior to TDOS's contestants. With Scat stating that Evil Computer and Evil Blood Bag are too much for him to handle. As Evil Computer Supreme, he's shown one-shotting Blood Bag and is implied to have easily killed most of the contestants. So in base, Evil Computer scales, if not upscales to the feats below, with Evil Computer Supreme definitively upscaling by a good bit:

Others

Same reasoning as the contestants, generally everyone in the TDOS universe is shown to be comparable in strength and speed. Though as stated earlier, Evil Computer Supreme is shown to be stronger than non-Super Objects. Which (mostly) everyone listed here is. So Evil Computer can scale to the following, as well as upscale as Evil Computer Supreme:

Weaknesses

The Dark Lord

The Dark Lord on his own doesn't possess any notable weaknesses, however, his Existence Erasure is shown to be able to be resisted with enough willpower, as seen with The Second Coming. The same goes for the Virabot's needles as shown with The Chosen One

Evil Computer

Starting with the most damning, Evil Computer's higher forms... really can't be accessed in a fight scenario. As they either required the power he took from others, or items he wouldn't normally have on him. The only forms he can reliably access in a fight without prep time are his base form and spirit form. As the latter only needs him to die.

On top of this, while it hasn't been shown to be that major of a detriment. Evil Computer is notably short tempered and has quite the god complex in his Supreme form, due to him gaining such high power.

Before The Verdict

Infinite Speed Dark Lord

Via scaling to The Second Coming, The Dark Lord has the arguments for infinite speed, via The Second Coming keeping up with someone who caught a supposed "infinitely expanding" laser. Though due to the laser clearly traveling the distance in a finite amount of time. It shouldn't be viable for infinite speed.

The Dark Lord and Chosen One destroy The Animator's computer

In Animator vs Animation III, The Dark Lord and The Chosen One cause The Animator's computer to be destroyed with a Blue Screen of Death. Some people may think of this as a universal feat by assuming the computer is a universal sized world. Or by scaling it to the size of the current computer, which contains the cosmology that gives the verse it's big feats.

Though, not only is the computer in the original trilogy a different computer than in the rest of the series, as The Animator had to get a whole new computer after the events of Animator vs Animation III. But due to the difference in operating system. It wouldn't make sense for the old computer to contain a similar sized cosmology when it's clearly inferior.

This isn't exactly the most relevant thing, though. As The Dark Lord still scales to the Low Multiversal feats.

Verdict

Stats

This section actually turned out to be a lot more interesting than I initially viewed:

Beginning with finite ends. The Dark Lord is hitting 1.67 Tons of TNT, while Evil Computer is at... 16.44 ExaFOE... yeah. That's a 5.988024e+61x difference. Meaning with this end, Evil Computer is fully capable of one-shotting. Speed-wise. The Dark Lord has scales to a feat reaching 1044.27c. Certainly impressive, but still far behind Evil Computer scaling to those who are reaching 667830743093c on a low end. A 639519226.917x gap. Only a 4.0592132e+38 difference between the AP and Speed gaps. So, Evil Computer both one-shots and speed blitzes... right?...

...no, we gotta look at ends that aren't really numbers. The infinite ends!

Starting with AP, Evil Computer... doesn't have an infinite AP end. He peaks at the 16.44 ExaFOE mentioned earlier. While he may get higher through stronger forms and absorbing the power of the people he's killed, it wouldn't ever be infinite. Unfortunate. Meanwhile, The Dark Lord is hitting 14x Universal thanks to scaling from The Second Coming. Even upscaling with the Wristband. Though while Evil Computer lacks an infinite AP end, he more than makes up for it with his Immeasurable speed feat of fighting fast enough to go back in time. On the flipside, The Dark Lord lacks an infinite speed end (except the infinite laser speed thing I talked about before the verdict). Even with that infinite speed feat. The Dark Lord would be far below Evil Computer Supreme's immeasurable feat.

While some may say this feat only scales to Evil Computer Supreme. Not only was he fighting Computer's Super Object form when he performed this. Allowing for his Super Object form to scale. But Plus, who isn't a Super Object, is capable of keeping up with Evil Computer Supreme. Allowing for even base Evil Computer to reach Immeasurable speeds.

So. The Dark Lord is infinitely stronger, but Evil Computer is immeasurably faster. Both take one part of stats by unimaginable degrees. But due to Immeasurable being, well, immeasurably bigger than any number. As well as infinity. Evil Computer should take the edge in stats.

Abilities and Arsenal

Both of these guys have quite simple movepools, with not much overlap.

In terms of raw firepower, The Dark Lord holds a clear edge with fire and energy balls, laser eyes, and fire breath. Due to the immense AP gap, any of these could destroy Evil Computer in one hit. Even the forcefields, regardless on if they activated without Evil Computer thinking about them. They would be destroyed in one hit, too. Though the speed gap would mean The Dark Lord wouldn't really be able to land any or this.

Evil Computer, in base. Is lacking a lot of offensive abilities to use compared to his opponent. His only option outside of throwing hands is shooting beams from his LED Lights, which he hasn't even shown to use in character. Even then, the durability gap would mean none of this would leave a scratch on The Dark Lord. As of this point. Evil Computer's only win condition that doesn't involve direct harm is BFRing The Dark Lord into his Mindscape. Though, like the LED Light beams, he hasn't shown to do this.

So if The Dark Lord can't catch Evil Computer and Evil Computer wouldn't use his wincon in character, how would this fight end? Thankfully, there's more to this. And it requires looking into their more powerful states. Whether that be a different form or a piece of equipment.

If The Dark Lord were to hit Evil Computer physically just, with his fist. It would send Evil Computer to the Astral Plane as a spirit. In this form, Evil Computer can very easily go back to the battlefield, possess The Dark Lord, and then tear him apart from the inside. While this isn't something he's shown to do in character, much like his BFR win condition. It is originally used in a combat scenario. So the chances of him pulling it off aren't impossible.

The Dark Lord could use the Virabots or Virus Wristband to erase Evil Computer, potentially nullifying his ability to go to the Astral Plane. Which is a decently plausible wincon, as the sheer number of Virabots could catch Evil Computer off guard, letting them land a bite. Though it's hard to tell if this would actually work. Since it's unknown if it would erase Evil Computer on a spiritual level.

Lastly, let's talk about Evil Computer Supreme and Evil Computer's Super Object Form, both grant Evil Computer some counters to some of The Dark Lord's abilities. Such as using Airplane's turbines to reflect fireballs, or absorbing the energy from The Dark Lord's laser eyes and energy balls. He also has more instant wincons through Cobalt Fumes and the Kiss of Death. And can now match the Virabots with his own army of minions.

Though despite this. Both of these forms can only really come out with specific circumstances. For the Super Object form. Evil Computer needed to not only be in his spirit form. But had to pour all four of the lotions on the ground and mix them together. Which he realistically wouldn't have on him. And Evil Computer Supreme is only accessible through absorbing the power of Evil Computer's former villain friends.

With all this said, despite his win conditions not being something he would initially think of, they are still plentiful and easy to pull off compared to his opponent's singular, dubiously possible win condition. Abilities goes to Evil Computer.

Other Factors

The Dark Lord should edge out in experience, due to his more solo victories, whether that be in 1v1s or fighting multiple people on his own. Most of Evil Computer's winning fights are either with an army or other people. In addition, Evil Computer is more used to fighting people he can easily throw one attack at, and instantly have them knocked out. Especially as Evil Computer Supreme.

Intelligence is also a category The Dark Lord shows a clear edge in. Being shown to create much more scientific weaponry, while Evil Computer did modify Tablet Pen to shoot portals to other universes, he still had a base of sorts to work from. Compared to The Dark Lord presumably making the Virabots and Virus Wristband from scratch.

So in this smaller category, The Dark Lord should come out on top.

Conclusion

The Dark Lord

Advantages:

  • Infinitely stronger
  • Smarter and more skilled in 1v1s
  • Far better offensive abilities
  • Could one-shot any forcefields Evil Computer makes
  • Existence Erasure could negate Evil Computer going to the Astral Plane...
  • Virabots have the potential to catch Evil Computer off-guard, landing deadly bite...
  • him and the chosen one are totally gay lets not kid ourselves

Disadvantages:

  • Immeasurably slower, regardless of Evil Computer's form
  • Projectiles and energy attacks are countered by some of Evil Computer Supreme's abilities
  • Has no way of harming, or potentially even seeing Evil Computer's Spirit Form
  • Less versatile with Evil Computer's higher forms in play
  • Lacking defensive options
  • ...but both are only possible via generous interpretations
  • has like less than 30 minutes of screentime lmao

Evil Computer

Advantages:

  • Immeasurably faster, regardless of form
  • Counters quite a few of The Dark Lord's abilities...
  • Better defensive options...
  • Spirit Form cannot be harmed or perceived by The Dark Lord...
  • Has more insta-wins, and has even more of them higher forms...
  • Far more versatile in higher forms...
  • Computer likes men and women, absolute bi icon that Evil Computer should be comparable to.

Disadvantages:

  • Infinitely weaker
  • ...in higher forms.
  • ...but the strength gap would mean any forcefields would be one-shot.
  • ...but Existence Erasure could negate Evil Computer being sent to the Astral Plane.
  • ...but his Supreme and Super Object forms require specific things to be done. Both of which are unlikely to come out in a fight.
  • From the series with Normal Pill
  • Got his wallet stolen (irresponsible fuck)

Both of these red-clad computer-based antagonists have quite a bit going for them. Taking a part of the stat trinity by unquantifiable ends. And ways to keep the other on their toes. Though with his blinding speed, more varied wincons, and undead trump card. Evil Computer has what it takes to leave The Dark Lord seeing what truly gives this evil box the title of supreme.

THE WINNER IS EVIL COMPUTER

...so that's the blog! I'd like to give a thanks to Niko for helping with some of the AvA research. And also other miscellaneous stuff. She's a real one. And I guess thanks to the people who made the calcs and VSBW pages. Made this blog way easier as a result.

ANYWAYS. NEXT UP I'M PLANNING.....
(yes this is a reused trailer i didnt feel like making a new one)
